Our Professionals – C. David Herring David’s biography has been published in Who's Who in American Law. Who's Who in California and Who's Who in the World 7th Edition. He is the Co-Author of the book, "Cases And Materials On Professional Responsibility," published in 1978 and 1979. He served as an adjunct Professor of Law, Western State University School of Law, 1972-1992. Faculty Member, San Diego Inns of Court. Guest Lecturer: San Diego Escrow Association; The Desert Escrow Association; The San Diego North County Escrow Association; The California Escrow Association; The Escrow Institute of California; The San Diego Association of Advertising Agencies; The San Diego Chapter of C.C.I.M. California Continuing Education of the Bar and Lorman Education Services. He has had the unique service as Counsel to Army Witnesses before the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations of the Committee on Government Operations of the U.S. Senate, 1970; He has served as the legal advisor to various nonprofit organizations, including The New Heritage Theatre Company, Inc.; The Gaslamp Quarter Theatre; The Elizabeth North Theatre, Operation Interdependence and the TriCity Navy League. David was a member of the San Diego (Host) Lions club and has served as its President and Chairman of the San Diego Lions Welfare Foundation. He has served as a Panel Member on the San Diego Superior Court Judge Pro Tem Panel. Acting Judge Pro Tem, San Diego Superior Court Jury Trials. David is currently a member of the San Diego County and Indiana Bar Associations; the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Coronado Chamber of Commerce. He currently is the vice president of the Coronado Cays Homeowners Association and serves on its Architectural committee and is chairman of the Cays’ legal advisory committee. He is also on the Board of Directors of the California Plaza Business Owner’s Association. David’s primary areas of practice are in Real Estate; Business Formation and Operation, Civil litigation and Insurance Defense. Margaret K.
